Our Story
Amick Associates is a family-owned business based in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, providing lifting products, rigging services, and motorsport safety equipment since 1958. Three generations of the Amick family have built this company on a simple principle: deliver the products, expertise, and service that keep people safe and operations running.
Our industrial rigging division manufactures and supplies a complete range of lifting solutions — wire rope slings, alloy chain slings, synthetic web and round slings, no-touch safety tools, rigging hardware, hoists, cranes, lifting beams, fall protection equipment, and more. We don't just sell products. We fabricate chain slings with a precision heat treating process that enables unlimited repairs. We build custom no-touch tools from a sketch on a napkin. We load test equipment up to 400,000 lbs. And we back everything with inspection, certification, and repair services from a team of five certified inspectors with over 150 years of combined experience — including Level III Rigging Gear Inspectors and Instructors.
In 1998, Amick engineered NASCAR's first Wheel Restraint Tether — an innovation that set a new standard for modern motorsport safety. That breakthrough launched Amick Racecar Restraints (ARCR), now among the world's largest manufacturers of vehicle component restraints. Today, ARCR's restraint systems protect drivers in NASCAR, INDYCAR, NHRA, Sprint Cars, Monster Trucks, and Australian Supercars. Our restraints have been trusted at the Indianapolis 500, and our Safer Wall anchor straps are installed at tracks across the country.
From the shop floor to the racetrack, Amick delivers strength, precision, and reliability — built in Pittsburgh since 1958.
