Sling and Hardware Inspection
Amick's field inspection team brings over 150 years of combined experience to every sling and hardware evaluation — inspecting rigging equipment from all manufacturers, regardless of make, model, or where it was purchased.
Our inspectors evaluate wire rope slings, chain slings, synthetic web slings, round slings, metal mesh slings, shackles, hooks, master links, turnbuckles, eye bolts, hoist rings, and all associated rigging hardware per OSHA 1910.184, ASME B30.9, B30.10, and B30.26 requirements.
For streamlined inspection management, Amick offers RFID and Field ID support — enabling digital tracking, documentation, and history for every piece of inspected equipment. This technology eliminates paper-based inspection records, provides instant access to equipment status, and simplifies compliance audits.
OSHA and ASME require documented periodic inspections of slings and rigging hardware at least annually, with more frequent inspections in heavy or severe service conditions. Amick provides sling inspections as both a value-added service for existing customers and as a standalone inspection service for any operation — even if you haven't purchased equipment from us.
We come to you. Our field inspectors perform evaluations at your facility, minimizing disruption to your operations while ensuring your rigging equipment is safe, compliant, and documented.
