Amick provides expert hoist repair services for customers nationwide — handling inspections, load testing, and repairs for thousands of units annually at our dedicated repair facility in Pittsburgh. Our experienced technicians restore hoists to peak performance, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with ASME B30.16.

Amick is an Authorized Repair Center for both Harrington and CM (Columbus McKinnon) hoists — two of the most widely used hoist brands in the industry. As an authorized center, we have direct access to genuine OEM parts, manufacturer technical support, and the training required to perform warranty-covered repairs to factory specifications.

But our repair expertise isn't limited to Harrington and CM. We service hoists from all major manufacturers — electric chain hoists, wire rope hoists, manual hand chain hoists, and lever hoists. Common repairs include motor replacement, brake adjustment and replacement, load chain replacement, limit switch repair, contactor replacement, gearbox service, and complete hoist rebuilds.

After any repair involving load suspension components, the hoist is load tested per ASME B30.16 before returning to service. We offer both in-shop and on-site repair options to match your operational needs.

For warranty repairs on Harrington or CM hoists, customers must obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) as directed by the manufacturer.
