Amick Rigging and Racing Continues to Grow in 2023

For the second year in a row, Amick Rigging and Racing has expanded its production capabilities with another major equipment investment.

In 2022, we brought in a Strider Resources round sling machine, allowing us to produce slings up to 70 feet in length across a full range of capacities. In 2023, we took the next step — adding a vertical proof testing structure to our facility.

In the past, we’ve relied on our trusted crane partners to help with lifting beam testing. Now, we can handle those tests in-house with our own vertical rig — capable of safely load testing beams, slings, clamps, and more up to 400,000 pounds.

This upgrade means faster turnaround times, added safety, and broader services for customers across the steel, construction, mining, oil and gas industries — and even machine shops using custom lifters.

We now offer in-house sling and beam recertification, fully supported by our InspectAll digital inspection software. You'll get detailed documentation that meets OSHA and ASME compliance standards — and the peace of mind that comes with it.

With these added capabilities, our capacity has doubled. Amick Rigging and Racing remains OSHA and ASME compliant — and proud to be a longtime AWRF member.
