Amick Ramps Up Testing Capacity

Let the fun begin. As Amick Rigging and Racing moves into the new year, our expanded testing capabilities are now fully online — and ready to match our increased production output.
With the integration of our new horizontal/vertical testing system, we can now perform structural and mechanical beam testing and certification up to 400,000 pounds. This expanded capacity supports customers who rely on heavier-duty lifting equipment and aligns with industry compliance standards.
We now offer in-house testing and recertification services across key ASME B30 categories, including:
B30.20 (Below-the-Hook Lifting Devices)
B30.9 (Slings)
B30.30 (Wire Rope and Synthetic Rope)
B30.26 (Rigging Hardware)
B30.23 (Personnel Lifting Systems)
B30.21 (Lever Hoists)
We're also equipped to recertify custom lifting devices, including one-off builds used across industrial, manufacturing, and fabrication environments.
An added benefit: energy absorption, research, and prototype testing is now achievable — enabling development work for safety systems in NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula 1, and Supercars Australia.
Amick Rigging and Racing is proud to support both the jobsite and the racetrack — with the tools, technology, and testing to back it up.
