Multi-Purpose Adjustable Beams
Multi-Purpose Adjustable Beams offer variable pick point spacing along the beam, allowing a single beam to be configured for multiple load widths and lifting geometries. Instead of stocking separate beams for different load sizes, an adjustable beam provides the flexibility to handle a range of applications with one device.
The adjustable pick points slide along the beam's length and lock into position, enabling the operator to match the rigging configuration to the specific load being lifted. This versatility makes adjustable beams a cost-effective solution for facilities that handle a variety of load sizes and shapes.
All adjustable beams supplied by Amick are designed in accordance with ASME BTH-1 and comply with ASME B30.20 requirements. Rated loads may vary depending on pick point spacing — always verify the rated capacity for the specific configuration in use. Each beam is proof tested at 125% of rated capacity.

Type
Adjustable-span lifting beams with variable pick point positioning.
Applications
Manufacturing, construction, plant maintenance, and any operation that handles loads of varying widths and pick point requirements. Ideal for facilities that need lifting flexibility without investing in multiple fixed-configuration beams.
Exceptions
Rated load capacity changes with pick point spacing — always confirm the rated load for the actual configuration being used. Ensure pick points are fully locked in position before lifting. Do not exceed the rated load for any configuration. Inspect locking mechanisms, pins, and structural members before each use. Annual periodic inspections required per ASME B30.20.
