Chain Accessories

Chain Accessories are the fittings and components that connect, join, and configure chain sling assemblies. From the master link at the top of the sling to the coupling links that join chain segments, every component plays a role in the strength and safety of the complete assembly.

Amick stocks a full range of chain accessories including oblong master links, pear-shaped master links, mechanical coupling links, welded coupling links, connecting links, and specialty fittings. All components are matched to Grade 80 or Grade 100 alloy chain and are rated to meet or exceed the working load limit of the chain they connect.

Proper component selection is essential — every fitting in a chain sling assembly must be compatible with the chain grade and rated for the intended load. Using mismatched or underrated components compromises the entire sling assembly regardless of the chain's capacity.

Type

Applications

Chain sling assembly fabrication, sling repair and reconfiguration, and any application requiring compatible chain connection hardware. Used wherever alloy chain slings are built, maintained, or modified.

Exceptions

All accessories must match the grade and capacity of the chain sling assembly. Inspect fittings for cracks, distortion, and wear before each use. Mechanical coupling links should not bear directly against the load, a hook, or other hardware per ASME B30.9. Replace any component showing visible damage or deformation.
