Extruded Aluminum Handling Systems
Extruded Aluminum Handling Systems are lightweight workstation crane and monorail solutions built from precision-extruded aluminum track profiles. These systems provide smooth, low-friction material handling with significantly less effort than steel-based systems — making them the preferred choice for ergonomic applications where operator effort, speed, and comfort are priorities.
The aluminum extrusion construction delivers a high strength-to-weight ratio, enabling long spans with minimal deflection while keeping the overall system weight low. This reduced weight means lower structural loads on the building, often allowing installation on existing structures without costly reinforcement.
Aluminum handling systems are available in monorail, workstation bridge crane, and jib crane configurations. The enclosed track profile keeps the trolley and hoist wheels protected from contamination, reducing maintenance requirements and extending system life — particularly important in clean manufacturing environments.

Type
Extruded aluminum workstation cranes, monorail systems, and jib crane systems.
Applications
Manufacturing, assembly, packaging, machine tending, cleanroom, and any operation where ergonomic load handling, low operator effort, and smooth material flow are priorities. Well suited for lighter loads and high-frequency applications where operator fatigue is a concern.
Exceptions
Aluminum handling systems have lower capacity limits than steel systems — verify that rated loads are adequate for the application. The supporting structure must be evaluated for the imposed loads. Do not exceed the rated capacity of any component. Inspect track, trolleys, end stops, and connections per manufacturer guidelines and ASME B30.11.
