Floor Mounted Jib Cranes
loor Mounted Jib Cranes are freestanding lifting devices anchored to the shop floor, providing dedicated lifting coverage in a defined arc around the crane's mast. Available with rotation up to 360°, floor-mounted jibs give operators the ability to pick up, swing, and position loads anywhere within the crane's reach — without relying on an overhead bridge crane.
Jib cranes are ideal for adding lifting capacity to individual workstations, machine centers, loading docks, and maintenance areas where a full overhead crane system would be impractical or unnecessary. They can operate independently or as a complement to existing overhead crane coverage, handling lighter or more localized lifts without tying up the main crane.
Floor-mounted jibs are designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME B30.11 and CMAA specifications. The foundation and floor slab must be engineered to support the crane's imposed loads, including the overturning moment created by the boom under load.

Individual workstations, machine centers, assembly areas, loading docks, maintenance bays, and any location needing dedicated point-of-use lifting. Used across manufacturing, fabrication, warehousing, and maintenance operations.
Exceptions
Floor slab and foundation must be engineered for the crane's imposed loads, including dead weight, live load, and overturning moment. Do not exceed rated capacity at any boom position. Inspect mast, boom, pivot, and anchor bolts per ASME B30.11. Annual inspections are required at minimum, with more frequent inspections for heavy or severe service.
