Amick Load Hugger & Truck Tie Down Assemblies
The Amick Load Hugger is a fast, one-hand tie down system designed for securing loads on pallets, in vans, and on trucks. Unlike overhead lifting slings, Load Hugger assemblies are built specifically for cargo securement — snugging down loads quickly and reliably so they stay put during transport.
The one-hand operation makes Load Huggers significantly faster to use than traditional ratchet straps or manual tie down methods, reducing rigging time and getting trucks on the road sooner. The system is designed for repeated daily use in high-throughput shipping, warehousing, and distribution operations where speed and reliability matter.
Amick also offers standard truck tie down assemblies for flatbed and general cargo securement applications. All tie down products are manufactured at our Pittsburgh facility.

Type
Load Hugger one-hand tie down assemblies and standard truck tie down straps. Both 5,000 and 10,000 lb. nominal capacities are available.
Applications
Cargo securement on pallets, in vans, on flatbed trucks, and in warehousing and distribution operations. NOT for overhead lifting. Designed for securing loads during transport to prevent shifting, falling, or damage. Hold downs for heavy industry.
Exceptions
Tie down assemblies are NOT rated for overhead lifting — do not use as a substitute for lifting slings. Inspect straps for cuts, fraying, stitching damage, and hardware wear before each use.
