Triangle-Triangle Web Slings
Triangle-Triangle Web Slings feature metal triangle fittings on both ends of the webbing body. Classified as Type 2 under ASME B30.9, they are designed primarily for basket hitch and vertical hitch applications where secure, consistent hardware connections are required at both ends of the sling.
The dual triangle fittings provide efficient, straight-line lifting with clean hardware connections to hooks and shackles. Like triangle-choker slings, the metal fittings absorb bearing wear at the connection points, protecting the webbing and extending sling life in repetitive applications.
Amick manufactures triangle-triangle web slings in nylon and polyester, built with a 5:1 design factor at our Pittsburgh facility.

Type
Type 2 (ASME B30.9 / WSTDA). Triangle fittings on both ends. Available in nylon and polyester.
Applications
Basket hitches and vertical hitches. Used in manufacturing, construction, and general industrial lifting where clean hardware connections at both sling ends are preferred. Not designed for choker hitch use.
Exceptions
Cannot be used as a choker — the dual triangle configuration does not allow the sling to pass through itself. Same temperature limits as all synthetic web slings: not for use above 194°F (90°C) or below -40°F (-40°C). Same chemical limitations apply (nylon/acids, polyester/alkalis). Inspect metal fittings for cracks, distortion, and wear per ASME B30.9.
