U-Flex 4 Sling
U-Flex 4 Slings are multi-part wire rope slings that combine the strength of wire rope with enhanced flexibility compared to standard single-part slings. The multi-part construction distributes the load across multiple rope paths, providing a sling that is easier to handle, conforms better to the load, and delivers reliable performance across a wide range of lifting applications.
The increased flexibility of U-Flex 4 slings makes them well suited for applications where a standard press grip or single-part wire rope sling is too rigid — particularly when rigging irregularly shaped loads, working in tight clearances, or using smaller diameter hooks and pins where the sling eye must conform to the connection hardware.

Type
Multi-part wire rope sling assemblies.
Applications
General industrial lifting, construction, manufacturing, and plant maintenance. Works well in applications requiring both wire rope strength and greater flexibility than a single-part sling. Suitable for vertical, choker, and basket hitches.
Exceptions
Same removal-from-service criteria as all wire rope slings per ASME B30.9: broken wires exceeding allowable limits, kinking, crushing, birdcaging, corrosion, heat damage, or end fitting damage. Inspect all parts of the sling for damage before each use. The D/d ratio affects sling capacity — consult rated load charts for the specific connection hardware in use.
