UltraWeb Slings
UltraWeb Slings are Amick's high-performance web sling option, made from one of the strongest abrasion-resistant materials available for synthetic lifting applications. Where standard nylon or polyester webbing may wear too quickly in harsh environments, UltraWeb provides significantly greater resistance to abrasion, cutting, and surface damage — extending sling life in the most demanding conditions.
UltraWeb slings deliver the benefits of a synthetic web sling — lightweight, flexible, non-marring, and easy to handle — with durability that approaches that of wire rope slings in abrasive environments. This makes them an effective choice for applications where standard web slings are wearing out too fast but wire rope or chain would be too heavy, too rigid, or too damaging to the load surface.
Amick offers UltraWeb slings from our Pittsburgh facility.

Type
High-performance abrasion-resistant web slings.
Applications
Demanding industrial lifting where standard web slings degrade too quickly due to abrasion or surface contact. Ideal for steel handling, rough-surfaced loads, construction environments, and any application that needs the flexibility and load protection of a web sling combined with exceptional wear resistance.
Exceptions
Temperature and chemical resistance may differ from standard nylon or polyester depending on the specific fiber material used. Consult Amick for UltraWeb-specific environmental limitations before use in elevated temperature or chemically active environments. Same general ASME B30.9 inspection and removal-from-service criteria apply. Remove from service if the sling shows cuts, fraying, or damage that exposes core fibers.
