Wheel/Spindle, Hood/Deck, Spring, Flap, and Droop Tethers
ARCR offers a complete range of vehicle component tethers for NASCAR competition — covering every critical retention point on the car. Each tether is engineered for the specific loading conditions and installation requirements of its application.
Spindle Tethers are available in 8mm Vectran in both single and dual configurations, in any length. Standard sizes include 15" and 18". These tethers restrain the wheel and spindle assembly in the event of suspension or hub failure — the application where ARCR made history in 1998 by engineering NASCAR's first Wheel Restraint Tether.
Hood/Deck Tethers are constructed from 6mm Vectran, available in lengths up to 59". They prevent hood and deck lid separation during racing incidents, keeping body panels from becoming airborne hazards.
Hood and Roof Flap Tethers provide secure attachment and reliable retention for aerodynamic flap systems that deploy during spins and backward travel to prevent lift.
Rear Spring Tethers are designed for strength and stability in the high-stress conditions of rear suspension operation.
Lightweight Droop Tethers are customizable in any length to meet specific chassis and suspension requirements.
All NASCAR tethers are available through ARCR's authorized distributor network.
